Audra has lived and worked in the United States, England, and New Zealand. She's a beach bum at heart, but loves fresh mountain air and a nighttime fire in the autumn. She's a dog lover and horse lover. The Spicer family has a deep, rich tradition of racehorse training and competition, and Audra enjoys being a responsible Standardbred owner in the harness racing industry. Audra has a doctorate in English and a couple of Master's degrees in writing and interpreting, but her education in fiction craft happened outside of university. She lives between the southeast and northeast with her husband and their Jack Russell Terrier.
