An Eclectic Slice of Life - Intriguing works of prose and poetry

Dark Prints Press and Eclecticism E-zine present the print anthology featuring the best work from the first two years of the e-zine, plus new and exclusive work from most contributors (including UK Horror author Joseph D'Lacey, winner of the British Fantasy Society's Best Newcomer Award 2009).

‘AN ECLECTIC SLICE OF LIFE' is an eclectic mix of short fiction and poetry, shaped into three sections. In Dark Little Oddities , you will see whether an abused wife can iron out her problems; read of secrets best stayed hidden; medicinal cures for the elderly; romantic, princely conquests; and the fragmented mind of a serial killer. In Fantastical Twists , you will read tales of zombie pet-owners; folken bounty hunters; bizarre rebirths; conspiracy tales involving plastic dolls, a hounded minotaur; the drunken rants of a time-traveller; memory-erasing surgery; and a literal life line. Finally, in Obligatory Dramas , you will be exposed to thoughts we often push aside, including the joys and pains of parenthood; the aftermath of a broken marriage; lives that never quite travelled down the right path; the ravages of war; and the need to write that perfect story.
